Welcome to Enchantment In The Kitchen!

I believe that the kitchen is where all the magic happens in a house. It holds the most memories of mothers teaching their children and then grandchildren how to make the most delicious creations. 

A kitchen is a place where family and friends gather.  Whenever we get together as a family we always end up gathered around my Mom's island in her kitchen snacking on something that was made that day. 

For me I remember most Sundays my friends and I would make cookies and take them to people in our neighborhood. My birthday parties would always consist of decorating heart shaped cookies and then doorbell ditching them to boys we had crushes on, my birthday is the day after Valentines Day (so we were able to pull it off with out looking crazy).

Now my Mom will have her grandchildren over and help decorate cookies for the holidays or let them create their own bread if she is making bread.  Whenever she bakes she always has a little helper there to make a creation of their own.

I hope this blog will make your kitchen a magical place to make memories.  I plan on posting most of my recipes that I make and ones I find on Pintrest (that actually turn out good), that way you don't have to waist your time with the bad recipes. I will give you step by step instructions along with pictures. I hope you enjoy!
